In Skateboarding in Sarajevo writer Jerry Cullum ponders the siege of Sarajevo, the American Civil War, and urban violence in contemporary Atlanta, while posing a tentative answer to the question, "What good is art, anyway?"

Produced and directed by Carol LaFayette, the video features a generous collection of images by artists such as TRIO, Sarajevo, and E.K. Huckaby, Atlanta, as well as archival and contemporary photographs of war by international photojournalists. The DVD package contains printed work by Atlanta artists.
