Reading assignment: Chapter 9 of Advanced Renderman
Design and implement two original Renderman shaders.
The first is to be an interesting original
displacement shader.
The second is to be an interesting original
surface shader that makes use of illuminance loops to determine
surface color and opacity.
Create an interesting surface and lighting setup for the shaders to operate on.
You will need to turn in:
1) The README file.
2) The source code for your Renderman
shaders.
3) The compiled Renderman shaders.
4) The RIB for your Renderman scene.
5) Any texture files used in your
shaders.
6) At least three rendered images:
one for each shader alone and one using both shaders together. Please
create and turn in jpeg versions of these images for inclusion
on the class web pages.
