Reading Assignment: Chapters 12 and 13 of Advanced Renderman

Review  Sections 9.2 and 9.6 of Advanced Renderman

This week you will be adding shadow maps and environment maps to your repertoire of renderman shading functions. Your task is to develop appropriate shaders and render images that make use at least one shadow map and that have at least one surface that has reflections implemented with an environment map.

You will need to create one or more interesting environments complex enough to make good use of shadows and surface reflections.

You will need to turn in:

1) The README file.
2) The source code for your shaders.
3) The compiled Renderman shaders.
4) The RIB or Maya files for your Renderman scene(s)
5) The shadow map and environment map files used.
6) Any additional texture maps used
7) At least three rendered images.  One with just shadows, one with just surface reflections, and one with both shadows and surface reflections.  Jpeg format please.
