NON-PHOTOREALISTIC SHADERS - Now that you have some experience with surface, displacement, light and volume shaders, this week you are asked to develop and apply an original "non-photorealistic" shader. See the "cartoon" shaders material in Section 12.8 and the material in Chapter 16 of the "Advanced Renderman" book as a starting point.
You need to turn in:
1) A README file.
2) The source code for your Renderman
shader(s).
3) The compiled Renderman shader(s).
4) The RIB or Maya files for your
scene.
5) At least two rendered images.
JPEG format please!
You are expected to apply your non-photorealistic
shader to an object or scene with "interesting" geometry - not just spheres
and planes. Please use appropriate commenting and intelligent naming of
variables so that the shader can be easily deciphered.
