Ergun Akleman - Professor
Ergun's research interests are computer-aided geometric modeling, interactive sculpting natural object modeling and non-photo-realistic rendering. Ergun teaches computer graphics, computer-aided geometric modeling, advanced rendering techniques and natural object modeling.

Karen E. Hillier - Professor
Karen's interests as an artist/educator incorporate the combined use of conventional and digital media. She teaches digital multi-media and photography in addition to working closely with graduate students pursuing independent artistic work.

Donald H. House - Professor
Donald's interests are in perception, physically-based simulation of natural phenomena for purposes of visualization and animation choreography and in gesture recognition for human-computer interaction. He teaches computer graphics, image manipulation, and physically-based modeling.

Carol LaFayette - Associate Professor
Carol's interests are in film, video and conceptual art with an emphasis on the language of images. She is the faculty advisor for the Aggie SWAMP Club (Screen Writers, Actors, and Movie Producers).

Tim McLaughlin - Department Head
Tim brings his experience in the effects and animation industry as a digital creature developer for Industrial Light & Magic and Lucasfilm Animation into the classroom. His work centers on the transfer of digital character designs from 2D artwork to functional 3D models.

Frederic I. Parke - Professor
Fred's interests include character modeling and animation with emphasis on computer facial animation. He has taught courses in computer hardware and software systems, computer animation and computer graphics.

Mary Ciani Saslow - Senior Lecturer
Mary has taught drawing, design, and painting more than a decade. She is an artist in Adobe Photoshop as well as oil on canvas. She has been a book designer in New York City and San Francisco, an artist for an alternative newspaper in Pittsburgh, an art director and designer of cover art for CDs, and a painter in Houston.

Vinod Srinivasan, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor
Vinod's primary research interests are in the areas of 3D modeling, with emphasis on topological modeling and automatic and semi-automatic approaches. He is keen on expanding his research interests to include multi-disciplinary areas which combine computer graphics, architecture and engineering.

R. Yauger Williams - Assistant Professor
Yauger's areas of interest include the globalization of art, design, and technology with a focus on image and word. He teaches multi-media communication and expression.
