Ergun's research interests are computer-aided geometric modeling, interactive sculpting natural object modeling and non-photo-realistic rendering. Ergun teaches computer graphics, computer-aided geometric modeling, advanced rendering techniques and natural object modeling. He joined the Texas A&M faculty in 1995.
