I was born in 1978, Beijing, China, and grow up in Beijing and Shanghai, the two biggest metropolises in China. When I was a boy, my parents wished I could be a muscian, but I like drawing and mathmatic instead. When I attend high school, I fanscinated with Japanese Manga and TV game (Nintendo games).
In 1996, I bacame a B.arch student in School of Architecture, Tsinghua Univ. By accident, I saw a Miyazaki's master piece "Porco Rosso" in the first year in college and was totally shocked. "Making my animation", that became my dream till now. During 5 years of campus life, I saw thousands of animations / F/X movies and Manga books, from U.S. , Euro, Japan and Korean, and take training course of graphic software.
Now I am an M.S. Viz. student in Viz Lab, Texas A&M Univ. keep seeking my animation dream.
